Benefits
This prebiotic (alpha-glucan oligosaccharide) is obtained by enzymatic synthesis from natural sugars (sucrose and maltose) and contributes to the balance of the skin's ecosystem. It is considered a prebiotic because it promotes the growth of beneficial skin bacterial strains and inhibits the skin colonization of pathogenic bacteria. It has emollient characteristics, providing a feeling of soft, smooth and nourished skin. It keeps the skin in good condition, contributing to the maintenance of the skin barrier and skin microflora.
Borage oil is extracted from the seeds of borago officinalis and contains between 18 and 26% linolenic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid that is important in the structure and function of the skin. Its emollient properties help moisturize and protect the skin, maintaining its barrier function.
How to apply
Apply once or twice a day. Do not rinse off.
